By creating an account or using Sorted Summer ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

Sorted Summer is operated by Sorted Summer, LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). These terms govern your use of our website at sortedsummer.com and any related services.

Sorted Summer is a summer camp discovery and planning platform that helps Triangle-area families find, compare, and organize summer camp registrations for their children. We provide tools to browse camp offerings, save sessions to a personal calendar, and manage summer schedules.

Sorted Summer does not operate any camps and is not responsible for the programs, activities, safety practices, or quality of any camp listed on the platform. We are a discovery and organizational tool only.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use the Service. By registering, you represent that you are an adult and are acting on behalf of yourself and your family.

Sorted Summer is intended for parents and legal guardians planning summer activities for their minor children. It is not intended for direct use by children.

When you create an account, you agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You agree to notify us immediately at support@sortedsummer.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your account. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account credentials.

Sorted Summer is designed for use by parents and guardians. When you add a child profile, you are providing information about your minor child on their behalf. You represent that you are the parent or legal guardian of any child whose information you enter into the Service.

We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. All child profiles are created and managed by parents or guardians who have consented to our Privacy Policy.

Child information collected includes name, date of birth, school district, and interests — used solely for the purpose of personalizing camp recommendations and planning your family's summer schedule. We do not sell, share, or use children's information for advertising purposes.

Parents may review, update, or delete their children's information at any time through the Family section of their account or by contacting us at privacy@sortedsummer.com.

Camp information on Sorted Summer is provided by camp operators and our team. While we make reasonable efforts to keep information accurate and current, we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any camp listing, including session dates, pricing, availability, or program descriptions.

Always confirm details directly with the camp before registering or making any payment. Sorted Summer is not responsible for changes to camp programs, cancellations, or discrepancies between listed and actual information.

Saving a camp session to your Sorted Summer calendar does not constitute a registration or booking with that camp. It is a planning tool only. To officially register your child for a camp, you must contact the camp directly and follow their registration process.

Sorted Summer is not responsible for any camp registrations, payments, cancellations, or refunds. Any financial transactions are between you and the camp operator directly.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information
• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its servers
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute content without permission
• Use the Service for any commercial purpose without our written consent

When you submit a review or other content to the Service, you grant Sorted Summer a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute that content in connection with the Service.

You represent that your reviews are based on genuine first-hand experience and are truthful. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these terms or that we deem inappropriate.

The Sorted Summer name, logo, website design, and all content created by Sorted Summer are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ACTIONS, CONTENT, OR POLICIES OF ANY CAMP LISTED ON THE SERVICE. YOUR USE OF ANY CAMP'S SERVICES IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SORTED SUMMER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED $100 USD.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sorted Summer and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any third party's rights.

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new terms on the Service and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at support@sortedsummer.com.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Durham County, North Carolina.
